Put a bench of small creators on the format you already proved

Prove one short-form format converts, then hire several small creators to remake it. Judge candidates on whether their own posts stop a scroll — an 8k-follower account with repeat breakouts beats a 300k account nobody watches. Brief them with your proven hooks and demos, not your objectives; they should be multiplying a working experiment, not designing one.

Step 5.1.10.7 Put five small creators on the format you already proved in the SaaS launch checklist · phase 5, Compounding engine

The play

Once one short-form format has demonstrably produced signups, stop making it yourself and pay several small creators to produce variations of it. Select on whether their own posts stop a scroll, not on audience size, and brief them with your winning hooks, clips and openings rather than with your goals.

Watch out for

  • Only run this on a format that has already produced signups — a bench multiplies whatever you hand it, including a loss.
  • Brief the format and leave the story, opener and examples to the creator; identical scripts read as ads.
  • Paid or gifted placements must be disclosed by the creator (FTC endorsement rules).

Best for

  • ecommerce
  • creator
  • indie hacker
  • marketplace
