Say the same sentence everywhere a machine looks

Write one sentence naming your category and your buyer, then propagate it verbatim across your homepage, listings, review profiles and community answers. Retrieval systems assemble a picture of you from many sources at once; when they all agree, the claim reads as consensus, and when they contradict each other the model hedges or leaves you out.

Step 3.10.4 Make every source describe you the same way in the SaaS launch checklist · phase 3, Authority baseline

The play

Pick the one sentence that says what category you are in and who you are for, then make every source a retrieval system reads repeat it: your first paragraph, every directory blurb, your review profile, the way you answer in communities. Agreement across independent sources is what a model treats as fact.

Watch out for

  • The sentence has to be true and checkable — repetition makes a wrong claim easier to disprove, not harder.
  • Update every source when positioning changes; a stale listing is a source arguing against you.
