Are LLMs useful for solo founders?
For marketing, yes for the work and no for the judgment. They draft, research and keep a plan moving; they do not build the reputation or relationships that reach comes from, and fully automated outreach stops working once everyone runs it. Keep a person on what goes out and to whom.

What did people in the thread say?
- In that thread: once marketing automation is complete it stops working. When everyone has an AI sales rep, nobody answers email, and the thing that cannot be automated is proof of work. source
- Discussing Google’s AI marketing tool, the owner of a small platform said campaigns are useless without existing reach, and a tool cannot build the reputation that reach comes from. source
- An experiment that let an AI run its own marketing business for five days made nothing; commenters said five channels at once was noise. source
What would we do?
- Give the model the work with a clear input: turn customer questions into drafts, competitor pricing pages into a comparison, a launch checklist into this week’s tasks.
- Keep for yourself what needs judgment or a relationship: positioning, who to write to, what to post in a community.
- Read everything before it goes out under your name.
- Stop doing what only produces volume.
Where does marketinque help, and where not?
marketinque runs inside your own Claude Code over MCP, so the model you already pay for does the drafting, with the launch plan, the directory index and your approval rules around it.
Where it does not: It does not supply judgment you have not given it, and it cannot make a channel work that your buyers do not use.
We build marketinque, so weigh this section accordingly. It is free while projects open by waitlist.
